Our surgery is approved as a training practice to help qualified doctors in the last stage of their preparation to become GP’s. These doctors are called registrars. The registrar may be sitting in on your consultation as part of their final preparation. If you do not wish the registrar to be present during your consultation please let the receptionist or GP know.
We have a registrar with us until August 2020. Her name is Dr Sabreena Johal
Dr Vineet Thapar (m)
BM (Southampton 1986) MSc MRCGP DRCOG
Dr Thapar is the senior partner and joined the practice in 2000 and as well as developing the practice has been involved in GP education since 1994 with past experience as a GP trainer, programme director for GP training and associate director for Inner NW London for the London School of General Practice. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, works for the GMC in their performance directorate and is a GP appraiser for Surrey.
Dr Liz Nuttall (f)
MA BM Bch (Oxford 2004) MRCGP DRCOG DCH DFRSH CILT
Dr. Nuttall is one of our GP partners and joined us in 2008 as a salaried GP. Following graduation from Oxford University, she went straight into general practitioner training. Having been a clinical teaching fellow and lead for year 3 community teaching at Barts and The London University Hospital she still enjoys teaching medical students from Imperial college and is our practice lead trainer for registrars. Her special interests include diabetes, women’s and child health. She is currently lead for dermatology in the planned care group in the local CCG. She is married with two children.
Dr Ritika Mathur (f)
Dr Ritika Mathur joined us in 2011 and last year became one of the practice partners. Graduating from India, Ritika finished her general practice training in 2006. Her special interests include women’s and child health.
Dr Kumbi Olowe (f)
Dr Olowe joined us at the end of March 2015. Dr Olowe qualified in 2007 and undertook positions in cardiology, orthopaedics and paediatrics. She has also undertaken rotations in surgery and accident and emergency departments. She has completed her specialist GP training and is looking forward to settling down with the practice and patients here. Dr Olowe has a special interest in womens medicine.
Dr Nakul Kapoor (m)
From 7th August 2019 our existing registrar, Dr Nakul Kapoor will take a permanent salaried GP position with the practice.
